The Festo PE Converter PEN-M5 Pressure Sensor is a pneumatic-electric differential pressure switch, also known as a pressure sensor, pressure switch, or pneumatic converter, for precise monitoring and control of pressures in pneumatic systems. This device is designed for use with compressed air according to ISO 8573-1:2010 [7:4:4] and can also be operated in systems with oiled air. It features a PNP switching element function with a normally open contact, a maximum switching frequency of 70 Hz, and a maximum output current of 350 mA. The sensor is short-circuit proof and operates in an ambient and medium temperature range of -20 to 60°C. The electrical connection is made via a 3-wire cable with an open end and 2.5 m length, while the pneumatic connection is M5. The housing is made of robust die-cast zinc.
