The solenoid valve, also known as magnetic valve or pilot valve, from Festo with type number MFH-5-1/4-B is a pneumatic valve. It is a 5/2-way monostable solenoid valve with manual override, but without solenoid coil and socket. Coil and socket must be ordered separately. The maximum flow rate is 1,300 l/min and the operating pressure is between 2 and 10 bar. It has the dimensions 15 x 6 x 4 cm and weighs 0.3 kg. Solenoid valves are used in pneumatics to precisely control the flow of compressed air in systems, enabling automated processes. Typical applications include the control of cylinders and actuators in mechanical engineering and automation technology machines.
