The solenoid valve, also known as electrovalve or electromagnetically operated valve, from manufacturer Festo with type number MFH-3-1/2, is a pneumatic solenoid valve. It is a 3/2-way solenoid valve that operates monostably in a normally closed state and features a manual override. The solenoid coil and the socket must be ordered separately. It has the dimensions 17 x 10 x 6 cm and weighs 0.8 kg. Solenoid valves control the flow of gases or liquids in pneumatic or hydraulic systems by opening or closing via an electrical signal. Typical applications are found in automation technology for controlling cylinders and actuators, as well as in industrial machinery for the precise regulation of media flows.
