Omron E3X-HD44 Fiber Optic Sensor E3X-HD44

The Omron fiber optic sensor E3X-HD44, also known as a glass fiber sensor, optical waveguide sensor or optical fiber sensor, is an electrical optical sensor for object detection. It features a PNP output, a red LED light source and an M8 connector. It has the dimensions 1 x 4 x 10 cm and weighs 0.02 kg. Fiber optic sensors use optical fibers to guide light into hard-to-reach areas and detect reflected or interrupted light. This enables precise and non-contact object detection even under confined or harsh conditions. Typical applications are found in automation technology, mechanical engineering, the packaging industry and logistics, where they are used, for example, for position detection, completeness checks or for monitoring conveyor belts.
