The reflex light sensor, also known as a reflective light barrier or retro-reflective sensor, with type number OGP701 from IFM Electronic is an optoelectronic sensor for object detection and positioning in industrial applications. It features an M18x1 thread, a DC PNP output, and is programmable for light/dark switching. The sensing range is between 0.2 and 2 meters, with a maximum output current capacity of 200 mA. Connection is made via an M12 plug. The housing is made of V4A (1.4404) stainless steel, and the device has dimensions 1.7 x 1.7 x 7.2 cm and weighs 0.032 kg.
