Carlo Gavazzi ER1830NPAS Retroreflective Sensor

The retroreflective sensor, also known as a reflector light barrier or retro-reflective photocell, with type number ER1830NPAS from Carlo Gavazzi is an electrical light sensor for object detection in industrial applications. It has the dimensions 15 x 2 x 15 cm and weighs 0.15 kg. Retroreflective sensors function by emitting a light beam which is reflected back by a separate reflector. If this beam is interrupted by an object, the sensor detects this and triggers a switching signal, enabling non-contact object detection.
