Het 5/2-weg magneetventiel, ook bekend als richtingsventiel, schakelventiel of luchtventiel, van SMC met typenummer SY3100-5U1 is een pneumatisch component voor het regelen van persluchtstromen. Het heeft de afmetingen 4 x 8 x 9.7 cm en een gewicht van 0.2 kg. Dit elektrisch bediende ventiel maakt de richtingverandering van het medium in pneumatische systemen mogelijk door de bediening van de vijf aansluitingen en twee schakelstanden. Magneetventielen zijn essentieel voor de precieze besturing van cilinders, aandrijvingen en andere actuatoren in geautomatiseerde processen.
