De pneumatische cilinder, ook bekend als persluchtcilinder, werkcilinder of zuigercilinder, met typenummer DSNU-20-40-PPV-A van Festo, is een pneumatische cilinder conform ISO 6432. Hij beschikt over een zelfregelende pneumatische einddemping aan beide zijden en is geschikt voor detectie middels een naderingssensor. De afmetingen bedragen 3.6 x 3.6 x 17 cm en het gewicht is 0.22 kg. Pneumatische cilinders worden in de automatiseringstechniek ingezet om lineaire bewegingen door middel van perslucht te genereren. Typische toepassingen zijn te vinden in machinebouw voor klem-, transport- en positioneringstaken, evenals in handlingsystemen voor het verplaatsen van werkstukken.
